Once upon a time... The founders of Omaha Wedding Association were preparing to spend another day planning their dream wedding. They were using phonebooks, magazines and huge national websites that were based upon cities far from Omaha. They began to wonder if this process could get any worse, and of course, it did! They were so excited when they got engaged to be able to plan their dream wedding and make it the perfect day for everyone. They did not think that it would be so difficult to do that.
What they learned was that the wedding they were planning was taking too long--it just took too much work and money to fit into their budget and time table. Jason and Tammy knew that there must be a better way to plan their wedding. They knew that the process didn't need to be so stressful and difficult.
After they got married in 2006 they created and founded The Omaha Wedding Association to make sure you have a great time planning your wedding.
What makes us different? Most websites, expos and magazines that have been created assist in the planning of weddings and are not much help to the local market. These magazines, expos, and websites are great for ideas, but they don't provide any local help. They don't let you know who can help you where you are getting married, here in Omaha.
There are 2,300,000 weddings in the United States every year--which is great! The Omaha Wedding Association isn't here to help them, we're here to help you. Right here in Omaha!
Who are we? The Omaha Wedding Association is a community where like-minded couples gain knowledge, share ideas, information, and resources and help each other get to that BIG day!
